mirrors

just like a mirror, i stay silent, affixed to a wall.
you look into me to see what i think, but, instead, you see your soul.
you cry; you howl
i'm like a mirror
i have no response at all
suffocated and exhausted, you let your guards down
you share your pains, miseries and sins.

because only time you show your true self is when you are in me/in front of me.
because, i, mirror is indifferent to pain and pleasure;
a mirror shows nothing more, nothing less.
